The NU Public Interest Program is a one-year fellowship that helps train a new generation of leaders for social change through paid public interest work, professional development seminars and mentorship opportunities with Northwestern alumni.
NUPIP is designed to introduce young alumni to organizations whose missions are to promote the public interest, as well as to enable these organizations to benefit from the Fellows’ experience, passion, and commitment.
For Student Applicants
If you’re a graduating senior interested in creating meaningful impact in areas of public interest, we encourage you to apply for NUPIP. We are looking for graduating seniors excited about working toward positive social change in an area of their interest. NUPIP is a one-year fellowship that helps train a new generation of leaders for social change.
For Prospective Partners
If you represent an organization or agency that addresses social issues and works for the public good in Chicago, consider applying to be an NUPIP host site. Benefit from talented recent graduates and receive hiring assistance.
